We believe that God is the Creator of heaven and earth and reject atheistic and theistic evolution.
We believe there is a distinction between the original creation of Genesis 1:1 and the ruined condition of the earth in Genesis 1:2, followed by God’s six-day ordering and restoration of the earth. We hold this as a biblical fact commonly called the Gap Theory, while preferring to regard it as the Gap Fact because we believe the distinction is taught by Scripture.
We believe the six days described in Genesis 1 are literal days and that mankind is a direct special creation of God. Adam and Eve were real historical persons.
