We believe God can and does answer prayer and heal according to His will.
However, we reject modern claims to possess the apostolic sign gifts, including supernatural tongues, apostolic healing gifts, revelatory prophecy, visions functioning as divine revelation, and visible manifestations alleged to prove Spirit baptism.
We believe signs were especially connected with God’s dealings with Israel and that the apostolic sign gifts diminished as the Gospel went from the Jews to the Gentiles and the apostolic period closed.
We distinguish God healing from a person possessing the apostolic gift of healing. We also believe Satan can produce lying signs and wonders, particularly in connection with the Antichrist.
